Project - Boonerah Amenities

AEGIS Consulting Engineers + Project Managers were engaged to provide structural design services for the Boonerah Point Park Amenities Project, as part of Shellharbour City Council’s broader initiative to enhance key parks and walking areas across the region — including Boonerah Point Reserve, and the Blackbutt Walking Track.

In collaboration with Stantec, the project focused on designing amenities that are durable, functional, and aesthetically aligned with the natural environment.

Our role included:
• Structural design for amenities blocks tailored to site-specific conditions
• Strategic placement of windows and doors for light, airflow, and security
• Adapting designs for accessibility, safety, and long-term performance
• Efficient delivery within a tight schedule, without compromising quality

The result:
• Functional, visually integrated public amenities delivered on time
• Safe, accessible designs that enhance community spaces
